Details & Requirements
- Our normal hours of operation are from 9:00
a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Inclement weather & Holidays of
course will alter most scheduling and we appreciate your consideration
concerning them. If you practice an alternate holiday please advise us in
advance so we can reschedule you accordingly.
All clients must be able & willing to provide adequate accessible water
supply facilities.
All clients must provide access to all plant material designated under our
maintenance contract. Plants being inaccessible for more than 2 weeks
consecutively voids their replacement guarantee.
If there are upper level plants such as on top of cabinets, high hanging
baskets or a vaulted ceiling planter, etc., a ladder must be provided by the
client and stored on the clients premises.
For all inherited accounts, all existing plants will be inspected for health
and pests. Condition will rate as Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair & Poor.
Ratings within the Excellent & Very Good are under immediate replacement
guarantee. All plants receiving a rating of Good & Fair will be conditional
and fall under no guarantee for at least 3 months. At the end of the 3
months they will be re-evaluated and either upgraded to guaranteed
replacement status, extended for an additional 3 months or replaced at the
clients expense. All poor rated material will not be guaranteed but
recommended for immediate replacement at the clients expense.
New plant installs or replacements can require acclimation periods that can
last upwards of 2 months or better. Please be sure to allow your plants to
adjust to your environment for at least 3 months if you're concerned with
its appearance. This is particularly true of Ficus trees.
Every client receives an initial inventoried list with locations as well as
a health status evaluation on every 3 month anniversary. Any plant material
not passing the evaluation will be replaced under our replacement guarantee.
All new installation accounts must purchase their plants and containers. We
do not provide leasing at this time.
All inherited accounts must purchase or have approved Water Tight Containers
or sign a disclaimer (baskets, designer planters which do not accommodate
the plant properly) against any possible water damages. It is recommended
that all containers be water tight.
Contracts are offered by 6 or 12 month terms. The first month's payment is
due and payable upon acceptance of a contract. Innerscapes considers the
advanced payment a retainer for services to be performed as well
illustrating the clients commitment to that contract.
The replacement guarantee covers the normal wear & tear for life of a plant.
Any obvious abuse, such as burned leaves from being placed in direct
sunlight, burnt from the cold, other liquids being poured in the soil,
extensive broken stems or fronds, etc., will void any guarantee and the
client is liable for the cost of the replacement for the abused plant.
Client employee personal plants. This is an issue with all indoor
landscaping companies and everyone handles them differently, so we feel we
need to be very clear as to our policy on this subject. We feel that a
client’s personal plant is exactly that, personal.
Therefore, we do not offer to water or maintain any client employees
personal plant for any reason. If a technician is asked to do so, by an
employee, they may do so at their own discretion. If they choose not to do
so as our policy states, we support and will not force our technicians to
care for personal plants as they are not part of any contract policy for
maintenance. If a technician chooses to water any client employees plant by
request of a client employee, Innerscapes is not liable for the health of
that plant for any reason, at any time, including our technicians generous
decision to help out. So please make sure your employees are aware, that
their personal plants are their own sole responsibility.
